anyone have figure recommendations for free company/french medieval brigans?

i'm thinking of buying venexia sword and buckler and just making do (and i want my medievals to be *very* general for morphing into any period army)

I'd have thought any esex medieval peasantry with a handweapon would do. Then they cna stand in for any other unarmoured/protected medieval light spear swordsmen types.

Agreed.. Alain Touller's Almughavars (Catalan Company) also do nicely mixed with other medieval figures.
