In Panzer Corps, GC42, Escape from Stalingrad, I have gotten my Hungarians to exit hexes, but they don't go away. Is there something else I must do to have them exit?

Nope just get them to the marked hexes, I don't think they had created those great exit hexes that are available and much appreciated in Soviet Corps...I hope they continue to place those on the maps in PZ Corps 2

But they don't go away. Just leave them sitting on the hexes until time runs out in the scenario?

Yep, that will do it. Don't move them off the hexes or let them get attacked & destroyed. Just wait for the turns to end.

As Goose mentioned, exit hexes weren't added to the game until after the Eastern Grand Campaign was done. If you played one of the other campaigns first you would expect them to exist
