what does it mean: units glow

About half way through my 3rd game of WInter War - some of the units started glowing yellow
What does that mean?
What does that mean?
You can set this in the options (hit Esc).
Each faction get a glow similar to the colour for the faction.
May make it easier to spot units in terrain like jungle.
