Points Values

I'm looking at some of the points values for troops.

MF, Armoured, Average, Drilled, Swordsmen cost 9 points each.
MF, Armoured, Average, Drilled, Polearm cost 9 points each.

The main difference being that the polearm chaps are much, much better than the swordsmen. In pretty much all circumstances. i.e.
- Polearm get a plus at impact against everybody, swordsmen have no impact POA
- Nobody counts better armour against the polearms
- A polearm always get's a plus in melee - swordsmen don't against against elephants and steady pike and spear

So how come they are the same points?

Polearm are 10 points, same as HW

I for one would like to see the list st you put in for Belgarum.
I would also like to know the reason you needed the password for the spreadsheet and why yours shows the cost as 9 and mine shows the cost as 10

Which army relies on the former? I think sword is cheap because it normally comes with something else.

You list checked for Godendag and demanded the password. Your polearm now costs 1 point instead of 2

I was looking at the crossbow points row. Personally I blame that crappy spreadsheet.

It utterly breaks if you insert rows...

Don't insert rows then, there is no need

There is if you want to change your order of march.

Cutting and pasting causes large problems as well.

You really shouldn't be allowed to use excel.
To change the order of march change the number in the left column then sort the data in order ascending on that column
Never cut and paste cells that are referenced in formulas. The reference moves with them. Copy instead

Can't you use the $ to keep them static?

Since you have the password why don't you retype every formula?
