AThis is the first game I have ever played, computer or board, which actually had got nomad horse archers right.

In the Huns campaign, the Hun horse archers are deadly shots, capable of causing many casualties and a good chance of disruption with their bows, very mobile, good at avoiding charges unless the charge starts right next to them, , and good in melee. You can actually use historic tactics with them, and it is a lot of fun to use them that way.

They are really formidable, and the cavalry battles I have had so far were a new experience for me, and most enjoyab?e.

I will refrain from posting late at night in the future, no matter how much I enjoy a particular battle.

For Huns, I prefer to spam light nomad horse archers and noble lancers, with a minimum of fierce nomad horse archers.

That is interesting. I do the opposite, getting as many fierce horse archers as I can. One of the great things about this game is that there are a number of valid tactics you can use to suit your style. I think I will try your preference, and see how it works for me.

Horse archer armies are the bane of my existence.
