Color Scheme Changes

After clicking "Settings" the the color scheme in-game changes into a greyish color. After I exit and restart the game the colors revert back to normal. Note, this only happens when I click "Settings". While not too big of an issue, I wonder what might cause this? Could be a Windows related issue but couldn't narrow it down. Thanks.

You are the first person to report this.

Could you post your DxDiag report please?

I included my DxDiag report in the attachment. As I mentioned, it's a relatively minor bug. But I would like to pinpoint the issue.

What happens if you go to settings and try and change the gamma settings?

Cheers

do you use Aicharger?

or any of the Asus apps?

if so, disable on startup, not delete and re test

and which AV program do you have installed, pm if you wish not to make it public etc

Tried that, I can't notice a difference.

I have several Asus apps that came installed with the laptop, but I'm not using any of them myself. I don't know which one may cause this either, I'll check.

I'm using McAfee but that's only for internet protection. I don't have any AVs other than that, thanks.

my advice is different than others, i'd disable or remove all the AI suite that came pre installed, as from personal experience some Asus apps do effect game in odd ways.

looking at your report, you do seem to have a few color changes from default, it might or could be because a app or program has changed or altered it from default, removing or disabling the asus one hopefully will make it default back to system setup ones, hopefully, but worth a try.

my system

Display Color Space: DXGI_COLOR_SPACE_RGB_FULL_G22_NONE_P709
Color Primaries: Red(0.656750,0.324719), Green(0.266125,0.597180), Blue(0.137219,0.097180), White Point(0.297375,0.348156)
Display Luminance: Min Luminance = 0.500000, Max Luminance = 270.000000, MaxFullFrameLuminance = 270.000000

one of my laptops, yes i have a few,

Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset has no alteration in the report

where as yours as 2 chips and 1 color change

Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630
Display Color Space: DXGI_COLOR_SPACE_RGB_FULL_G22_NONE_P709
Color Primaries: Red(0.640148,0.330578), Green(0.300305,0.600109), Blue(0.149914,0.060070), White Point(0.313000,0.329602)
Display Luminance: Min Luminance = 0.500000, Max Luminance = 270.000000, MaxFullFrameLuminance = 270.000000

and then,

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti which doesn't alter anything at this level

hopefully it the switch in settings that's affecting the reported code and not that your using the onboard Intel for menu's and the Render-Only Device,

Chip type: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Type: Render-Only Device

for the game code?

not sure so asked
