Long time player, finding mods for the first time

My friend long ago got me into the thinking strategy of Panzer General, and I played ever since then moved to this series when it released, picking up most Panzer Corps expansions and playing this great series since. BUT I had no idea about all the mods! I just installed the East grand campaign and am starting that. Are there any other mods I should be trying? I love realism and a challenge, thank you! Note I do not have all the expansions yet I am going to jump on the Gold package once it comes on sale again!
