CEAW Grand Strategy has been updated to version 4.0

Commander Europe at War Grand Strategy has been updated to version 4.0!
You can download the update from
here (PC) or
here(Mac)
Here you are some of the most important changes this new version brings:
1) Revised the tech upgrade system for all units.
2) Improved the map by including new map areas, new terrain types such as Forest Hills, Wide rivers, new resource hexes for Supply depot & Fortifications.
3) Revamped supply rule across the map.
4) Espionage changes which helps in Technology.
5) Scenarios now have an improved Country OOB.
6) Increased the range of air units, and naval units.
7) New rules to combat BLOB tactics with naval units.
8 ) Changed rules to prevent over spending for Rail, invasion, and repair costs.
9) Added automatic password to handle Mac OS High Sierra and make it much easier for password generation and verification.

Hello,
Is there any idea when 4.0 will be updated to the game to buy, from the store. I have read of challenges with not having a serial number. I would say the dog at mine, but that would be a bit of a stretch. Thanks for having a great game. This is my first post, though I have been playing for years.

Is 4.0 the latest publicly available version of the game only i have seen reference to a version 4.29 but no download links for it.

4.0 is the latest release, 4.29 was a dev test release not publicly available - 4.0 is what you want

coming back to the game after a long time and a computer change...I have now installed the vanilla version, is the upgrade to 4.0 directly possible? where I can find a valid link?

Hi can anyone help me I have a disk version of CEAW and have tried for ages to get Grand Strategy to run it installs ok or it seems that way but then will not load how do I get it to run it does not even start

Yeah I think this game should be updated, its one of the best WW2 strategy games ever made

Ive heard that this 'Grand Strategy' version of the game is only suitable for PBEM play is that true? If so which is the latest non PBEM version?

Doesn't download for Mac. The official link doesn't work on Mac either. "Download not available" . for Windows downloads everything(( I bought the game and I have a Mac(
