Hi, I'm playing through the historical battles and got to Magnesia. First time I'm fighting scythed chariots. Any advice?

They're pretty easy to deal with. Their impact is fearsome, but if your unit survives one round of melee with them, they will automatically disperse. Personally I wouldn't waste missiles on them, or spend much time trying to get a flank charge. Just makes sure you don't let them charge a disrupted or fragged unit, as their high impact makes them especially dangerous in these situations.

Don't worry about them, they don't have much effect on formed units, mostly they are a waste of points.

Especially if used by the AI the are very meh. you can easily destroy them by frontally charging them with irregulars. yes theyll drop 1 level of cohesion very likely, but then the chariots will disperse.
