The Field of Glory II DLC, set from the height of the Roman Empire until the eventual collapse of its western half, will be released on Martius VIII (March, 8th), bringing 10 new factions (including Anglo-Saxons, Goths, Huns, Romano-British, Sassanid Persians, and more), 17 new units (Legio Palatina, Fierce Nomad Horse Archers (Huns), Pictish Spearmen, … ) and 22 new army lists expanding the total number of army lists to 132!

Yeah, looks good. I like that Raw troops will become regulars, etc, which was a little anachronistic. "Improved AI" is terse, but always welcome.

Cannot hardly wait until March 8th. Makes me wonder what is next and when. I would love to see Byzantines and their enemies (Decline and Fall). Make me spend my money.

For myself I would like to see the biblical armies first (Assyrians, Egyptians, Hittites, Babylonians etc.) before moving forward through the post 500AD armies.

Me too. "Swifter than Eagles" never made the cut in FOG I, so I'm guessing it isn't at the top of their list for FOG II, so maybe some talented modders could work something up.

I dont give a cent for biblical armies, game needs a jump to new period to increase game offer in diferent armies, medieval period now is much better than still keep eye in ancient period.

But i think none of us is going to have what we want

True. My guess is that the next DLC will be 'Swifter Than Beagles', covering ancient fox hunting 100 - 500 AD

I’m with Scutarii on this one, no more peasants throwing rocks at each other in the desert I want polearms, axes and longbows.

Personally, I like all periods (biblical to medeival), but I expect medeival would be the most popular.

Has there been any hint of planned release schedule? Not asking about specifics, just a general outline.
