Custom scenario crashes in campaign (only)

Custom scenario works fine playing from the editor.
But loading it in my custom campaign I get the dreaded strat-map issue and the game hangs.
I can't find any issues with the scenario and need some help from a grown-up.

Scenario attached.

Thanks

I've replaced the first scenario from the official Burma campaign with yours and started it as custom campaign which works fine. No idea, maybe it's somehow related to a campaign file or campaign editor setting. There should be nothing wrong with the scenario itself.

I did the same, renaming your scenario "01_Rzhev" and substituting it in the Panzerkrieg campaign. How's this for incongruity?

Your scenario started fine in this "campaign":

(Heh, I see you are stuck with the tug boat captain for a British sea commander...)

Anyway, I am afraid that you will need the true "adult in the room" to resolve your issue.

OK, since the scenario itself looks fine, I've attached the campaign.
I checked the campaign editor without finding anything iffy.

The first time through, the campaign started but the scenario crashed immediately:

The second time around, the scenario started but then a Windows error and crash happened. I could not get a screen print of that nor did a crash report get created in C:\Users\Bruce\AppData\LocalLow\The Artistocrats\Order of Battle - WWII\Crashes.

The third time around, everything started and the scenario proceeded into turn 5 before I ended it:

Here's what I think: It may not be your campaign or the scenarios. It may be the game engine itself performing unreliably. Ever since they went to this Unity 64-bit thing, I have noticed a greater propensity for crashing, particularly in the scenario editor. They need to improve its stability across all platforms.

As far as the campaign editor goes, you may have a higher opinion of it than I do at this stage. As you saw, I tried to understand and document it but gave up because I was not receiving any help and because I felt that I was working with an unfinished product. I still feel that way because I don't think it's been looked at since before 5.2.0:

Long story made short, I would curtail your efforts until you see where this game is going or at least get official answers to your questions. You used to enjoy good communication with the developer(s) here; you would ask a question and he/they would answer. I learned much from witnessing those exchanges. I have not seen that in recent months, however, and I would hope that you are in communication by PM at least.

This particular campaign works fine with the first two scenarios, Gin Drinkers and Hong Kong. Never had a problem with these.

Adherbal has not been active on the forum for ages.
My guess is that he's still working to fix the various issues still bugging the game after 5.2.9. And I think these issues will be fixed and a patch published before we enter the next beta.

I have no problems understannding that the campaign editor will be low on the priority list for now.
But it is the tool some poor designer will use for cobbling together Afrika Korps, so I'm certain the editor will be fixed in due time.
There are actually not too many issues with it. I've gotten accustomed to working and even liking most of it :D
After all, I have two new campaigns that are close to being finished. Both of them created in the campaign editor.
