With the MP tournament starting next week, I thought I'd make this for people to discuss and arrange matches

Your tournament admins are everyone's favourite enormous map maker Erik and Slitherine Marketing Manager Alberto. I'll also be helping out with rules questions and tie breakers.

Apparently the 1st map will be Two Rivers. I'll host a couple of games tonight (20:00 - 24:00 GMT time) for anyone that wants to spar with me. Good luck to all!

For full disclosure, I am tournament participant so your tactics can and will be used against you (works both ways of course).

You signed up, right? Otherwise it is too late, roster is full. But I hope we can watch some of the games. Any progress report on that?

I already started 3 parallel games on Two Bridges that are turning out quite interesting! The map is quite good indeed- small, but with several routes to take and flank the enemy, as well as with opportunity for acquiring extra CP and RP by being aggressive. Definitely my favourite and most dynamic map I've played.

I'll post an AAR from the tournament games, since I'd rather write the AAR as the battle develops and the current games already started.

Am I wrong or is the sec. obj. "destroy bunkers" / "complete" trigger missing for both players? And what's with the "Green VP" prim obj. for red team? But I guess this doesn't matter in multiplayer or there's been an update in v5.2.8...(?)

However, there's still a couple of singleplayer (AI) triggers in it. Cool. So I've been wondering, Shards, if you've ever completed a singleplayer mission out of "Two Bridges" or if it was for testing purposes only? And if yes, could you upload it?

If I am not mistaken 20 games can be played at once by some player. If for tournament mirrored system is used it is wise to leave two slots open. I am at 17 now, waiting for another game to be accepted.

Yes - I have signed up and received confirmation emails but it doesn't indicate where I access the Two Bridges scenario so I don't know if its part of a DLC I don't have or not

Hi Sendai,

As long as you own one DLC, and therefore have access to Multiplayer, then you're fine. Two Bridges is one of the stock scenarios that comes with the game.

Start a new Hotseat game with yourself if you want to check it out with no pressure.

Hi Gabe,

I didn't bother putting a Complete condition for the bunkers as it's near impossible to destroy them all without winning the game beforehand

I have done an update to the map (with a bit of help from Erik) that will come with the 5.2.9 patch that removes the green team and tidies up the main win/lose logic a bit too.

The AI logic is purely to help me test the game. They're not much use for deep testing, but for getting a feel of whether the first few turns "work", I find them very useful!

The update to V.5.2.8 is out? My Order of Battle says I have the latest version...which is V.5.2.3......am I doing something wrong? I'm sure I will need the update for the match starting tomm. Thank you for your time.
