I am trying to understand the differences between units in Order of Battle, using name as a quick reference, but without knowing what names like DD Gleaves and CL Light Cruiser etc mean, I am not getting anywhere.
Can someone please explain what these acronyms mean? I guess something like Cleveland Class but that's just a guess.
