Announcment: Birmingham Cold Iron Field of Glory Tournament

Birmingham Cold Iron 15mm Field of Glory Tournament – December 13th

1. 600 points, 1 list, 4 rounds, 2.75 hours plus random time finishing the current phase when time is called. 1st tie-break will be countback and 2nd will be generals killed/camps taken.
2. Lists from any book published by December 1 will be accepted.
a. Email lists to the referee, Chris Anders, at shadypage(at)charter.net by midnight of December 6th. Late lists will be posted for all to see.
b. All four rounds will be played in 1 day.
1st round starts at 9:00 am
2nd round starts at 12:30 pm
3rd round starts at 4:00 pm
4th round starts at 7:30 pm
3. Important:
a. Only books published by December 1st will be allowed.
b. Field of Glory rules as published will be used along with the latest FAQ and Errata. Clarifications from the official web site may be used at the referee’s discretion.
c. Lists submitted may not exceed 600 points.
d. Lists must specify the number and size of battlegroups, their order of march and the number and type of commanders. Lists submitted without a specific order of march will be deployed in the order battlegroups are listed.
e. Lists must also include the territory list for the army.
f. Once submitted to the list checker, it may not be changed or altered other than to correct errors.
g. Players must fully define their troops as they are placed on the table.
h. The list checker’s decision is final.

5. The entrance fee will be $15 dollars for NASAMW members and $20 dollars for non-members who will be accepted into the ranks.
6. Matchups will be in-book for the first round where possible but are at the referee’s discretion. Players from the same locale will not be matched when possible in the first round. Match-ups after round 1 will be based on current cumulative score.
7. The Birmingham Wargaming Association is pleased to announce the following companies have pledged prize sponsorship for the Cold Iron Tournament:
a. 19th Century Miniatures/Old Glory 14s
b. Miniature Worldmaker
c. Osprey Publishing
d. Litko Aerosystems
8. Furthermore, Rudy Scott Nelson of Time Portal Hobbies will be in attendance and plans to bring around 20 boxed Old Glory armies, as well as, Litko bases and markers, Old Glory bagged miniatures and other sundry items. So please bring your pocketbook and thank Rudy for his continued support of miniature wargaming.

Damn, I'm jealous!

You people in the north of England can't swing a cat without hitting three tournaments, it seems :)

Hey Possum. This tourney is in Birmingham, Alabama, not Great Britain.

Don't forget to send your lists in by midnight, December 6. Otherwise, I may be forced to let John Big Man Martin and Joey Furry Pal Miller revise them for you.
