"Eternal Empire" has not arived yet in my area. So can one of players from the more lucky (as far as FoG goes of course! )regions of the world give us a teaser as to what the Teutonic Order list is like?

Remarkably like the DBM list, but the LH have jevleins and spears not bow

And the brethren foot spearmen come in a 4-6. So 8 more blokes to paint then. :-)

Hi Trench-Raider.

My book came today and as madaxeman said no Livonian Horse Archers, also no Horde.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put the full list on here for you...................maybe a moderator can clarify.

No full lists, please. JD would would end up making a midnight visit to your house. He wouldn't want to, but . . . .

Nope.
That's why I was asking for a "teaser"!

I can probably predict what much of the list will look like by looking at the DBM and Warrior lists. For example the Ritter Bruder are probably superior, drilled, heavy armoured knights, right?

What are the Prussian and other native infantry tribesmen rated as? Impact foot?

Now I just need to figure out what brand of figure I'm going to build this army in 15mm using. Does anyone know of a 15mm line that has the crested "Aleksandr Nevskiy" heads? I know of a couple of 25mm lines such as Old Glory and Gripping Beast that do, but no 15mm.

In their own armies yes, but not when subject to the Order.

Can someone clarify if the 'Livonian horse archers' have been abolished, or merged with the 'turcopoles'?

Thanks

They have been abolished because there appears to be no evidence that they ever existed.

Can I just clarify the *ed bit:

If I take any Serving Brother foot at all, then I must take a minimum of 4 of the spears and 6 of the crossbows? Can I take other foot (the rubbish ones for example) and NOT have to take any of those two Brother Foot lines? I can't take all Brother Crossbow and none of the spear...

A side-comment - flippin' hard to make a good list out of this! This was my favourite DBer,theotherone army and I had a nice list down (favourite in that it looked cool and was easy to use for a numpty like me). Dang this one is difficult. I'm thinking as much hard Kn as poss, with all the LH and Cav and no spear foot of any kind and just missile-armed foot... At least that has a simple purpose...! Doesn't look like it needs 4 generals...? At least there's not much painting required!

Thanks in advance

Simon

PS - anyone want to buy 12 Livonian Horse Archers?!

The best 15mm Teutons are definately Mirliton

There is a link to their site on my 15mm supplier directory

Does anyone make the 'scary monk playing the organ' character from the Eisenstien film ?

Essential for any Teutonic camp ! :D

This list isn't so bad. Higher knight maximums than DBM, convert hordes to MF, toss the horse archers into a different army. I'll be rebasing subject foot this weekend.

you can indeed take the optional inf specials without having to take any foot brothers, i.e. spears etc.

an army of just heavy knights and skirmishers. should get an interesting response from tournament opponents.
