CEAW for the Mac: PBEM, etc.

Folks,
A few of us on the Freeverse site are on a mission to grow the CEAW Mac community. It's true that a) it's incompatible with the PC version [bummer] and b) as yet there's no sign of the 1.06 patch for the Mac version [double-bummer]; however, those of us not put off by those issues have been having a blast in PBEM mode, and this is an invitation to any Mac CEAW-ers out there to consider joining in the fun.
There's a posting on the Freeverse site's forum [http://forum.freeverse.com/viewforum.php?id=11] to create a kind of directory for active Mac players interested in PBEM games. If interested, post a reply and get your name up there for contact.
While we don't yet have a patch, we've got effective workarounds for the only two issues that have been real obstacles--actually locating the PBEM files once you've made your turn, and a problem at the very beginning when you enter and confirm your password. See the Freeverse forum for descriptions of how to get past those two obstacles. Other than that, the Mac community is reporting no freeze ups or any other major problems in the PBEM games.
Cheers
