Hot-seat issues

I'm currently testing a new custom multiplayer scenario in hot-seat mode.
I moved the save file from my work-PC ( ) to my home-PC.

Loaded the save. The Turn Overview suffers from the similar issue you encounter when you run a scenario from the editor.
Objective black-out.

And the event messsages are totally broken.

The text_english file from the scenario is in a _temp folder. The txt is fine.

Edit: I noticed that all map location names were gone as well.

Do you have the scenario files in the same state/name/folder as on the work pc?

I'd guess that hotseat saves don't hold all the data in them unlike other saves?

Yes, all files are in the correct folders.
I have moved hot-seat saves in earlier versions without issues.

Can you upload the output log?

So do you have the scenario "installed" on both PCs? In the same folder names? That's where the savegame will try to find the txt file.

Does the game create the My Games etc folders identically on two Win10 PCs even if one uses English and the other Norwegian language setup?
If not, that may explain the issues.

That shouldn't make a difference. You mentioned the "_temp" folder in the original post however, which is created for a temporary copy of the scenario when you run it from the scenario editor. It is ignored in the singleplayer and multiplayer scenario lists.

I did test the scenario earlier setting one of the human to AI and this may have created the tmp-folder.
So this old tmp-folder may screw up a later hot-seat play of the same scenario...?
Time to do some house-cleaning then.
