Playing in 4 sections at once seems like an intense commitment. I sincerely hope people who sign up are committed to playing out the games. Drop outs have affected even player run tournaments with a far more lax schedule.

I can easily handle 6+ games at once playing multiple turns a day and even I am only committing to one section for now and carefully considering a second section to play in.

If you enter four sections it means you have to complete a maximum of 36 matches in a ten week period. What I would call "hard core" players can do that quite comfortably given that players can pretty much arrange their schedule to suit themselves.

It's not too hard if you make sure to check once or twice a day, but occasionally totally opposite schedules can lead to timeouts. Between fog, pns, sots I'm usually playing about 18 games at a time anyway. I'll just make sure to not start new non tournament games now.

the Late antiquity section is now full - a reserve list has been opened. There are plenty of other spaces still left in the other sections.

We are in the last few days now of the main recruitment period. There are still a few available places . . .

Themed Event - 2 places
Classical Antiquity - 2 places
Late Antiquity - full, reserve list only
From Cyrus to Tigranes - 3 places
Classical Indian - full, reserve list only

There are just two places left in the Themed Event and only one in Classical Antiquity. Reserve lists have been opened for the other sections.

All the places in the FOG Digital League have now been taken. 79 players have registered for the tournament, just 4 short of the record 83 that signed up for the earlier FOG1DL in one season. Reserve lists are open now. If you want to join the tournament it is still worth putting your name down in the various recruitment threads because each season there are usually a couple of non-starters and early drop-outs.

The tournament starts on Thursday. There is one space available for a strong player who can play in either an "A" or a "B" division. I f you haven't joined the tournament yet then this could be an opportunity for you. Reserve list places are still available.
