I don't understand the price difference between the artillery and attack aircraft. A Stuka costs 80 points while the standard German 105mm howitzer is 110 but it requieres at least a horse transport, which is 130 so in total it would be 240, three times the price of Stuka. Is artillery so much more effective?

130 is the total price. A horse transport costs 20 RPs.
