Doing campaign mode.
Is there any advantage in finishing each scenario early rather than holding out for last turn to get maximum prestige from each turn?

We talked about this a while back: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 64&t=79571 and http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 64&t=78655

The answer seems to be "No" because of this Resource Points Formula:

Opening RP's for this scenario + (RP's per turn x number of turns) - RP's used during scenario + RP's earned or given during scenario + Opening RP's for next scenario = Total RP's to begin next scenario

This part of the formula is the same whether you win early or play the scenario out to the end and still win: (RP's per turn x number of turns)

I'd swear that I am getting the RP's that I would have gotten if I had played out the turns. I tested this a while back, and everything came out the same.

You get slightly more by waiting it out.

long ago with OOB, I made the decision to give myself more RP for finishing early. an extra 3% total rp for each day I finish a map earlier than the max. so if I normally would start the next map with say 500rp, but I finished the previous map 10 days earlier than the max, then I start that map with 650rp. Seemed to work out well.
