Slitherine

This mission seems impossible , far too many strong Russian units to combat. My forces get smashed after a few turns and then get surrounded ! Any tips on how to at least make a fist of it ?

While I agree initially it looks terribly difficult at first there are a number of tricks to doing it that actually make it relatively easy. There are a couple of threads entirely devoted to it which go into details. let me just find them.
