I've just bought the game, considering that it's on sale and I've enjoyed C The Great War, but I'm stuck in the loading game splash and it throws out this on the command prompt concerning Java:

Exception in Thread "main" Java. lang. OutOfMemoryError: Unable to create new native thread.

Solutions?

I have found the solution, ladies & gentlemen. A program (virus free, i made sure) called 4GB Patch. No more out of memory error!
Search it on google and you'll see it straight away on the first result.

I've had the best luck by closing out browsers and Steam to free up memory (yes, even with a monster system, JAVA still needs those closed for this game). Once you can get to actually launch, try turning off the Music (and the Sound if necessary). Exit and restart and it should work.

OutOfMemoryError is normally a user error with too many apps or programs loaded at startup, not giving enough left later on for a given game or app to run

or a AV program scanning half way though, so yes a poor AV scan at the wrong time can spoil all the fun
