Us old farts came up with these questions last week. We found no answers.

The within 6 MUs of a table edge.......does that include our deployment zone rear and sides as well? We did just enter the board that turn.

Two units, A & B. B is between the edge and A's flank. Does B being between A and the table edge protect A's flank? Both units are within 6 MUs of the side edge.

We decided to ask BEFORE it happens in a game.

We ARE enjoying FoG. So far, the rules have not created a fog of war like some other rules have. FoG then fog....ummm

Being within 6MU of any table edge, including your own and your enemies. So if you take a CT whilst sacking the enemies camp on his base edge it will be at a minus, HF moving onto table after a flank march will always be within 6 MU so also at a minus. Just being within the 6MU causes the minus nothing protects, even fortifications IIRC, which is perhaps odd

However, getting a BG behind fortifications to test is rather difficult. (other than by breaking another BG next to them.)

And unless you paid the points for a full circuit of fortifications (which nobody would), how does being behind partial fortifications protect against an attack from the rear (from off table) ?
