Once you have paid for Mk2 Vipers and Torpedoes, how do you equip them to ships on the Xbox version?

I completed the mission for Mk2 Vipers and payed the RP costs for them on the blueprint screen, but my ships are still using the MK1.

Same question for Torpedoes.
