I was asked about helping put together a set of guides for newer players by someone on this forum and after seeing several repeat questions on this and the steam forum, I decided to create a set of Youtube videos on the super basics of mechanics in this game.

I apologize for the sound quality, several people who have vetted the first few videos have already noted that to me so I hope to improve on that a bit in subsequent videos as I go along but I don't really have studio mic or anything. This is more of a spare time project more than anything else.

If you find factual errors please let me know!!! One person has already pointed out sections where I misspoke and I am not going to lose sleep over that but if something is just plain out wrong, let me know so I can find a way to amend it or fix it. Annotations don't work anymore on Youtube so it will probably be a card with a link to the correction video.

While I'm here, does anyone know how to have YouTube recognize 'Field of Glory II' is a game? It auto-defaults to the original and the second doesn't show up when trying to select a game in their drop down and search function.

Dastactic the you tuber has done a great series on the game so if you find one of those then other FOG2 you tube plays should show up in the right hand panel.

Oh, definitely! I mean when publishing a youtube video of the game, YouTube itself offers a drop-down selection that categorizes your video as a specific video game. Currently, only Field of Glory exists in that category, as you see in MikeC_81's video as well.

This is an excellent series and would be highly recommended for anyone as there are details to pick up throughout these handy guides. Thank you very much Mike!

edit: Does anyone know how to tag my videos with the FoG thing that I see in other FoG 2 videos. I am a neophyte when it comes to making stuff like this.

Also I noticed a small error. I am fairly sure you said that lancers would be on a net 0 POA when charging steady Spearmen, but in fact they are on -100 because they lose their +100 for lancers against stationary steady Spearmen.
