zak- I looked in My Documents folder and I couldn't find a My Games folder, idk, I must've accidentally deleted it and I don't know where the "Settings" folder was stored...can you give me the file name of something unique to that folder so I can do a search for it and find the settings folder I need to delete??

Zak I appreciate your efforts posting and reposting this information.
Since most of the existing customer base is probably faced with the upgrade path to x64 bit, I don't understand why this information isn't in an easy to find official (locked) sticky. It should also cover the current problem with the 5.2.2 in-game auto update.
I understand release process pain. This customer dislocation is, however, a self-inflicted set of black eyes, and deserves some kind of visible, easy to find, complete, and official walk through to help people get the product working again.
I lost a bit of sympathy for the development team when I had to flog through every post since the release to figure out what was going on. I am grateful to forum moderators like you, and community members, who continue to try to shepherd people to a solution- thank you again.

The game always create one once it start in your Windows documents folder:
...\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2
If you don't have one, then you can skip this step and proceed with the rest of the steps.

The link zak provided is for a sticky official thread. It isn't locked so that users might post if they have any doubts
Regarding 5.2.2 issues, I'm not sure to which ones you are referring, but the 5.2.3 will be released soon.

The 5.2.2 in-game auto-update crash is mentioned here:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 64&t=80791 and here:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 72&t=81104, which speaks to my point.
I'm assuming anyone (the majority of the existing customer base trying to get to version 5.2.2) doing an in place upgrade to x64, or a clean install of x64, is exposed to this installation hang & crash. No idea on the folks staying x32 and trying to get to 5.2.2...
The problem with an unlocked sticky for an official walkthrough on how to remediate a release failure is, IMHO, the extra user noise reduces the signal strength. I understand you're trying to address everyone's problems- thank you.
