Console gamers get ready to fight the Cylon threat!

After a successful launch on PC/Steam in August this year, over 80% of favorable player’s reviews, and more than a million battles played, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock lands on the PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One today. The game is now available for download on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

Created in collaboration with Universal Brand Development, Universal Cable Productions, Slitherine and Black Lab Games, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock™ is an intense tactical space battle game that uses a WEGO play-system.

Working closely with Universal allowed for unprecedented access to production and key Universal stakeholders, enabling Slitherine and Black Lab Games to find unique ways to explore the Battlestar Galactic universe, create original ships, and extend the canon of the beloved series. In the WEGO battle system, players give commands to their fleet of capital ships and watch the explosive results play out in real-time across beautiful environments. From the bridge of the Daidalos shipyard, players will command the entire Colonial Fleet, building up its forces and jump them across the quaternary solar system of Cyrannus.

Creating such a deep tactical game for consoles was not an easy task. The whole UI has been re-built from the ground up to better suit console control systems. The uniqueness of the Battlestar Galactica Deadlock™ gameplay, with its WEGO play-system, is even more profound on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Is the game available as a physical disc copy as well as a digital download? Amazon has no stock?

It’s good to know that customers in the US are able to download the game from the US stores. What about custoners in other countries? Will the game be available to those customers too?

Thanks for your help on this. I would not be surprised to hear that the Hong Kong store is broken. It’s packed full of crappy anime pew pew fests. I also realise that your market in Hong Kong is probably small and I therefore appreciate all you can do to support my access to this fantastic game.

Warning xbox players. Do not buy this game for xbox. No multiplayer like the PC. Also if you save a game in a battle it won't load from it. Only loads for saves made out side of battle. So not only is it a lame version, it is bugged. If they fix these big issues then I would recommend the game. I have friends that want to play it but with out multiplayer they won't get it. It would be great to play the game with them.

Multiplayer is nearly complete and will be added in the first update for consoles.

I just literally purchased this game because it said 1-2 players.

So before I return this game, when is this update expected to launch?
