I've just picked this game up and I'm enjoying it.

With the campaign, what happens if/when we start a new one: do we get the same tutorial style prompts during the early chapters? Is there a way of skipping over "Kill the satellites" etc, and just go straight into managing the overall war effort? Or is it always based on a linear "let's start at the beginning with simple things" framework?

If you choose to not re-activate tutorials when you start a new play through, then any tutorials elements that you've already been shown won't appear.
