OOB was updated to V 5.2.2 by a patch pushed out by you. I started playing a scenario. While playing the game, I was dropped to the desk top. A message from Kaspersky poped up and announced that it had deleted order of battle - ww2.exe. File could not be disinfected. File contained PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic.

I had Norton display the same for the Blitzkrieg DLC install. These may be false positives by the AV. I disabled Norton for the install as I doubt the software is infected (at least I hope it isn't

The 5.2.2 patch doesn't include a new exe, so it certainly shouldn't be related to that. Virusscanners can do weird things sometimes :?

I have had OOB and Kaspersky installed together ever since OOB came out without issue. The only thing that has changed is the patch that took 32 bit V5.2.0 to V5.2.2. Since the patch I can play about 6 turns then I am dropped to the desktop. Kaspersky pops up and announces the removal of the exe. There is something odd in the patch that Kaspersky thinks is malware.

One other bit of information, the drop to desktop always occurs as soon as I end my turn.

AVG sometimes wants to quarantine my beloved OOB as well. But I need my daily fix :D

the default anti virus package which comes with windows 10, also tries to disable the download, but is a false / positive so also needs to be got around for the download and install to work

Create exception rules for the game in Kaspersky.
Anti-virus are becoming more and more intrusive.
