I am sorry for the issue and for the delay in fixing this, but this should now be fixed.
Provided you are looking for the 64-bit version and are not running a 32-bit version of Windows, please do the below:

1. Please go to the Documents folder for the game (Default: Documents\My Games\Order of Battle – WW2) and delete the folder called “Settings”.

2. Uninstall the both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the game and then go to the folder where the game was installed and ensure no files/folders remain

3. Download the file attached in this message "OoB_ClRegx64.zip".

4. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file "OoB_ClRegx64.reg".

5. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game.

6. Install 5.2.1 of the game from the link below and reinstall the game:
http://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/OrderOfB ... v5.2.1.zip

7. Reinstall all DLCs

8. Run the game and ensure that all DLCs are showing as unlocked and the game is working.

If you need to download your DLCs you can do it from the member’s area. Please see the forum post below which explains how to do this:

The link is broke, and the check for update is not working for me. After the full download I get an error message. Could you provide the hotfix to install it manually, please.

Is it normal that after installing this Hotfix 5.2.1 with success with the in-game update, the startscreen still indicate version 5.2.0 :?:

When I install Panzerkrieg, I have the message "Installation successfull" but the campaign is not activated :?:

The hotfix was removed because wasn't fixing all the issues.
We are still looking this. Unfortunately, this is being harder to fix than we have anticipated in this morning.

If you really want to play this weekend I suggest you to uninstall the 64bit version of the game and install the 32bit in case you have uninstalled it.

You can download the 32 bit version fr
http://ftp.us.matrixgames.com/pub/Order ... e-v248.zip

Then update to 5.2.0. You can download the update from the member's area. (*)

Please note that this issue is only happening with the 64 bit version of the stand alone game. The Steam version is working correctly.

We apologize for all the inconvenience.

Purchased Kriegsmarine yesterday and it stops in the AI turn of the first scenario at around turn 11 to 13. Patch 5.2.1 has not fixed it. File attached.

Having had no success with the Kriegsmarine, I thought I would try the Pacific campaign. I completed the attack on Oahu, but the second scenario only gives me a map with black squares where I presume there should be starting units.

I am using Steam. I uninstalled and re-installed it yesterday, but at no time did it offer me the option to install a 32 bit version.
Could you take the 64 bit version down and give out only the 32 bit version until the problems are sorted?
There is nothing to gain at this time with the 64 bit version anyway, unless you want to frustrate your customers!

Well, my 64bit version works fine. I've got all campaigns in place and my multiplayer issues are fixed.
So the 64bit issue is not affecting everyone.
Anyway, I guess it will be fixed early next week.

I have reinstalled OoB 5.2.1 with all the DLC on a second PC. With the first PC it was impossible to activate Panzerkrieg. With the second PC it was possible to activate Panzerkrieg but not Burma Road (?).

I don't speak officially, but I would recommend waiting on the 64-bit version until at least an update coming . . . tomorrow (Monday)? The reason I am saying this is because in other threads, people have said there are various problems with the 64-bit game, even on Steam. All will be well starting as early as tomorrow, we hope. Meanwhile, you may want to try the 32-bit procedural alternative that I linked to above.

I have no problems, probably because I have always installed everything under C: / Slitherine

Interesting.
I never use the default install path either, I always install in C:/Slitherine. And I have no problems.

I do this only because as a user I handle administrator rights

Yah, I'm only a layman but I think that validates what I said about the update in the thread that I linked to above:
From what I can gather, what happened is, they tried to release a 64-bit version of the program (installed in C:\Program Files\Slitherine) but the Panzerkrieg module was still looking at the old location of the 32-bit version (installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine). This could have been a problem in two ways: Either Panzerkrieg would find the 32-bit version but that was still 4.1.7 and therefore insufficient or Panzerkrieg did not find OOB at all, especially if you tried to go with a fresh installation like I did (I uninstalled 4.1.7 first).
If all installations are forced into C:/Slitherine, then it has no choice but to find what it needs to find. Bear in mind, though, that this was apparently not the only thing wrong with that 64-bit update. Speaking of which, it's now Tuesday. No further word on a resolution?

It's c!ear this messed up install issue, 64bit memory (and other) impact, and from what I've picked up around the forums, numerous fixes being worked on, is a huge task and the Devs are clearly head down getting on with it hammer and tongs, but we are at the close of business Tuesday and a fix was (informally) scheduled for Monday.

Some folks are getting a bit irritated, it's plain too see, so just an update on progress would be good and I think prudent.
