I seem to have corrupted a savecore file. What is the best/easiest thing to open them with? Does anyone have a rough idea of thier structure? are they very complicated/easily repairable. Thanks for info

I spent a lot of time trying to reverse-engineer save files for this game. There's nothing "simple" or "easy" about them. They are binary files and with no documentation it's near impossible to get anything out of them. I only learned how to find/modify Heroes' stats and replace units on the map.

I guess the savecore file follows the same pattern so I would have no hope for fixing that...
