Hi,
Normally, today is D-Day for Eternal Empire.
Amazon France email me to say they are still unable to get my copy.
Are english player luckier ?
In fact, I'm waiting my copy to order some Lithuanian infantry from Gladiator Games, so I will be pleased to know the min/max of LF and MF, before sending my order. But I couldn't wait too much cause I need to paint them for a tournament in October.
Thanks for your help.

Max
This is for the later Lithuanians.

According to the product listing on the FoG web site,
Eternal Empire has a US publish date of September 10, and a UK publish date of September 23.
Cheers,
Scott

These seem to be traditional, normally followed by the product arriving on time anyway.
I don't pretend to understand how Amazon works but to be honest if you really must have the books as soon as you possibly can then perhaps buying from another supplier rather than taking the large discount offered by Amazon would be in order.
If you look around the site you will see no end of grumbling from Amazon cusomers who have been told their delivery will be delayed and then received their books before the new date. It makes no sense to me.

It appears to be an automated alert system based on the record of stock supply. The notification system has indeed caused a lot of angst here, every time a new FoG book is released:
viewtopic.php?t=5095
viewtopic.php?t=5113
viewtopic.php?t=6047
viewtopic.php?t=6110
viewtopic.php?t=6945
And in each instance, it has transpired that the Amazon orders have shipped right on time. So my advice would be to ignore the ever-changing notices, and assume that your copy will be shipped within a day or two of the posted release date. This is what has happened each and every time thus far.
The only exception would be those folks who order two or more books and opt to have them shipped together. This means that Amazon will wait until all of the requested books have actually been published, before shipping them. If you don't want to wait, just be sure not to 'bundle' your order.
Cheers,
Scott

hmm.. I have been known to jump the gun a bit to quick..
I will chill for a while and see what happens, but it is poor practise from Amazons part anyways.

I was getting a bit nervous that we wouldn't have the usual postings this time. Tradition is very important here on the FoG forum. With that in mind, I am tempted to use my moderator powers to break these posts off into a new thread, just so that we have one.
