The Third Servile War, also called by Plutarch the Gladiator War and The War of Spartacus, was the last in a series of slave rebellions against the Roman Republic, known collectively as the Servile Wars. The Third was the only one directly to threaten the Roman heartland of Italia. It was particularly alarming to Rome because its military seemed powerless to suppress it.

Hi rico,

I have taken the liberty of putting these scenarios on the FTP for in-game download.

Gladiators being one person units. Any developers notes about their use ? Are there special rules for them ? They are not sub commanders, but regular units of 1 man. Facinating.

Someone asking questions is that he did not understand.
If he did not understand it is that he is not smart enough to understand
If he is not smart enough why loses his time explaining

Any reason for being rude?

I'm not rude, I was not born in Yorkshire.

Your reply to Hendricus most certainly was.

I was not born in Yorkshire.
Don't worry, neither was I.

no offence taken btw.
To make the one asking questions smarter perhaps. I do like the fact they are all different gladiators.
Another question: The scenario is solo playable from both sides, can it become a multiplayer scenario ?

Gladiators unit being only one person units because they are very strong in the scenario. This choice is questionable but the rule is simply: My scenario, My choices.

Any developers notes about their use?
In the scenario, they are the only ones able to beat the legions of veterans, provided that they are not surrounded.

They are not sub commanders because it reflects Crassus' lack of military experience and the lack of experienced officers in the Spartacus Army.

The scenario is solo playable from both sides, can it become a multiplayer scenario.
I do not know. I only play against AI and do not interest me about it.
It seems working with a special sript.
It needs Balance of sides.
I'm not opposite to Multiplayer provided you do not modify my scenario.

You're welcome.

Thanks for the explanation, and for making a scenario that is fantastic.
