This is not a post of what figs are missing in regard to particular armies or troops types but that most figure manufacturers in 15mm appear have modelled to DBx design.

In particular Bow armed cavalry of almost every sort. There are usually one or two in every range but the lancers get the spotlight. Essex have just released arab armoured cavalry that are actualy using thier bow which is great. Now lets see more of it. Armoured sword-waving bow shooting: Cumans, arabs, Byzantines, turks, Szelelers, ottoman siphahi, etc... the list goes on.

I think thats where the hole is in the current ranges that Fog has actually created with the lists.

And how many of us want an army or at least a fe wbattle groups of Amulgvars but cant abide having whole troops of angry riff raff in one of two poses - both produced by essex.

My biggest wish is that 15mm manufacturers (my scale of choice) had more variants in their packs.

You should have not purchase Essex miniatures for long.
The ranges produced 20 years ago have only one pose per bag but all new ranges from ten years have mixed poses.

I ordered a bag of Essex Poeni Foot (15mm), just to check them out and all the figs in the bag were the same pose. Painted them up and they look OK - besides being on the small side - but I did not reorder as I hate the one pose look.
