I am sure these come up but I had to ask Why are the Imitation legionarys for the pontics come only as protected and the Bosporan's get armoured ? I also have to ask why most Imetation legionary's come as only protected with no option for armoured ? why is this? I could believe maybe cost depending on the kingdom .Is this a play balance thingy ?Just wondering cause it make little sense to me . thanks

The limited evidence suggested that Bosporans might be more likely to have metal armour - possibly as a response to fighting horse archers. We felt it unlikely that most of the other users of imitation legionaries would be able to afford enough metal armour to qualify. In our view, we are more likely to be wrong about the Bosporans than wrong about the others. By all means mix a few armoured figures in, however, that won't affect classification.

Surely some of the other kingdoms from the east would have the same conditions as the Bosporans .Wealth and horse archers as an enemy ? also why is it such a all or none option . Could you not have it as an option but limit the numbers depending on the conditions met?. Are you guys open to list revision if enough historical evidence is found to contradict a troop classification ( a slippery slope I know). just asking . Also if you are open to changes (none really come to mind) but in what way would you want these presented like, a thesis PM or public forume ?thanks for your time dont worry I dont have touble in mind I might bother you about the Pyrrhics in the future .
