I made the cardinal error of putting up a couple games as open games for anyone to take.
And now I'm permanently waiting for the opponent to do the first turns in both games.
Yes I will stick to password locked MP challenges from now on, but do I have to see those 2 fake games forever more in my enemy turn list? There is no option for me to cancel them.

IIRC after something like 28 days you can delete them.

The PBEM manager clears old defunct games from the server periodically.

There is supposed to be a button to allow you to delete them, but there were issues just before release whereby the system was not working correctly and was letting people delete games that weren't really abandoned. Therefore the button was temporarily removed until we can sort out the issue robustly.

My take on this from the first week (as I have had people pick up chalanges but not return a move for several hours) is they will make their moves, but do not immediatly because

1) Winning is important to them, so maybe they are experimenting against AI with army first
2) They are greedy, so grab any available game even if they dont have time to start it

And of course they may have just been interupted/have a PC issue.

It will settle down quickly, I played FOG1 and P&S from release and can only remember 1 game in hundereds? that had an opponant that was just being stupid. Its a very friendly MP community.

I only have one real MP game now with JC_von_Prussian which is very fun.
