at the moment, i'm struggling to find the right textures so have raided a few different games just to see if one i can build a good enough looking roman fort and a wall, then play it, so far it's ok on the wall part, but yes not round or no real forts as yet, but early days.

it may or would be easier if more stuff got released "hint hint/2 to make the modders have more objects and items to add in, like a data base or wishlist of items, for me walls would be nice, and forts, gates, defensive items etc, but could wish forever tbh and play with the editor for more longer than the game it self

so yes with pinched parts from other games, i can do more, but i'd like to be able one day to do even more

i do love the editor, spent all my time since release in it, and apart from testing the map and how it played, it's all iv'e done so far, would love to have the time to do more, but will get round to it one day, there's some great mods out already, so plenty of action already, i just love to tinker

tbh i took the lot from every game i had and drop it in the folder and just hope and prayed it worked
it did, so until some more is added, it will do for now, for single player only games etc, for me

I don't know anything about Roman military architecture but, if you have Pike & Shot, you can mod the Objects folder to produce more Ancient-looking fortifications - this example is probably a bit over-elaborate but illustrates the point.

I don't imagine that Slitherine would mind if I shared one tiny modded folder with you. Should you want to follow up, contact me on markterencedotstevensatntlworlddotcom.
I could send you a copy of the folder and instructions/suggestions, although I'm away at a family wedding this w/e.
Those giant sugar cubes might stop the Pictish and Caledonian hordes until it rained heavily, which it does a lot in northern England.

tell me about it, i'm in the Midlands and at times it's seems more of a lake, than raining, so thanks, warm atm mind you, so i'd guess we are going to pay for it later with a very cold winter

If you want to replace the wall and publish it, you have my blessing.

i tend to do stuff for myself tbh, as sharing is caring, but, i'm more for testing and playing out a certain thing, so may not be for everyone
