Help,
I registered to take part in the Napoleon beta test and I have received an e mail from Slitherine inviting me to take part in the beta test. However I have moved house in the interim, and now have'nt a clue what username I used.
Can anyone at slitherine help me to take part in this beta test, or tell me what my username is?

You registered as Cromwell, so that's the username you need to use to log in to the beta forum.

I have received another e mail from slitherine inviting me to beta test the final version of Commander - Napoleon at War, and giving me a serial number.
However, when I input the serial number, I get a message telling me that Slitherine are no longer recruiting testers for this game!
What is going on? Can I take part in the beta test or not?

You have to download the installer in the beta forum. Follow the link in the e-mail.

When you run the installer you'll be asked for your serial number. Don't try and enter it anywhere else as it wont work

To access the beta forum you need to be signed in as Cromwell.

I am still unable to take part in the beta test for Commander, NAW. I have tried both the usernames I have used in the Slitherine log in, but cannot get to the point where I can enter the serial number.
Top marks for security, but low marks for user freindliness.
Any suggestions as to how I get to the point where I enter the serial number?

You have to go to the Beta forum. Plese post any queries there, not here. You do not enter your serial numer in to the web page anywhere. First download the installer. You only do it when asked for your serial number by the installer. It is an absolutely standard way of protecting software like everything you've ever bought from Microsoft, Adobe, etc. It's the most user friendly copy protection system you can have.

So, I arrive at the CNAW forum, anxious to take part in the beta test.
I hope I'm not being stupid but where do I go from here to download the CNAW final beta?

I'm very anxiously waiting for this game and I check the forum every day to see if there are any updates. I keep seeing updates, check them out in anticipation, only to find your 'lost little boy' posts.

What exactly is so complicated? There's a link at the top of the site which says "Beta test" It's kind of a huge clue.

Any chance I could take this guy's place at beta test....he seems a little clueless

If you are part of the beta you will need to use the username you signed up with to access the private areas here on the forum. The Beta Test button on the main page is only for signing up to be a beta tester.
