In one of my current games I'm about to max out technology levels (i.e., 3-6's across the board) in a couple of areas. I'm also max'ed out in terms of total number of labs. I'd like to free up some labs in order to add more labs to other areas that aren't max'ed out. I know that if you sale back a lab you get 1/2 the PPs. However, is there any penalty or loss in technology level if I sale back all labs purchased in a given area?

There is no penalty for selling labs so you can easily do that and get a chance to build other labs in areas you're weaker or maybe get an extra boost in unit purchase.

Thanks. Don't let Happycat know that I'm planning to do this. Also, there's another game I'm playing that I might do this for the PPs alone.
