PBEM replay lagg

I just wanted to briefly mention that while the replay is loading, the game badly laggs. I'm on a computer which is doing OK on more demanding games, so I suppose this is not a problem coming from me. This is a bit of an annoyance, as it spoils the pleasure of watching your opponent turn.

Do you mean during the playback of the enemy turn? Can you post your machine specs please.

Cheers

This happens to me too sometimes. Everything is fine besides the replay.

i5-2500k @4.1
8GB ram
nVidia GTX970
running at 1080p

The computer can run open world stuff like GTA 3 no problem, can play AAA first person games no problem at 1080p so its something with the game.

The replay is 'designed' be somewhat stuttery as it is running the game logic dozens of times per-update so that the replay doesn't take the actual time of the turn. So it is somewhat unavoidable. It's a tradeoff between getting the replay done more quickly and smoother mouse movement from rendering more frames.

Speaking of PBEM and replays. Just to make sure there are no replays and loading screens in offline hotseat correct? It just goes to the second player than they use the right mouse to rotate or arrow keys.
