Some questions about the scenario editor

Some questions about the scenario editor:

- How do I play a scenario? I can't find a way to play anything I've saved in the editor.

- Why are some images missing, like Deep Stream and Large Stream? They appear on the map in the tooltip, but not visually.

- Are there any minimum requirements for a scenario to work (like FoG I needed generals to be set up for each side)? I just want to test some things out, rather than create a proper scenario.

EDIT: I found the editor save in "Epic Battles". Since I'd only placed five units, I hadn't thought to look in there.

That answers one of my other questions too, as it appears to be working upon opening with a minimum of set-up.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll have some other editor questions in due course, which will make this thread somewhat more serving of a purpose.

The folder you saved them in should appear when you load up Epic Battles.

They are overlays that change the functional terrain type but not the appearance.

The only requirement is that there should be units on both sides, otherwise when you try to "play" it the victory conditions will be immediately triggered.

Okay, so one would place a Stream first, and then use the Deep Stream to make it deep, with no change in appearance between them, so only a mouseover would reveal the difference?

I'd be in favour of having different tile graphics between the two, so what you see is what you get. There looks to be only a handful of tiles without graphics, so it wouldn't be much effort to make them.

Correct

If only that were true.
