After evading during the previous Joint Action Phase

Can a BG that evaded during the previous turn's JAP (in response to being 'uncovered' and charged by an enemy BG pursuing a router) then move during it's own turn and (if equipped with missile weapon) shoot during the current turn's shooting phase, since the evade took place during the previous JAP? This came up in our game on Sunday and we determined that, yes, the LF BG that had evaded in response to a pursuer in the previous JAP could move and shoot. Which it did

Is this correct?

It seems logical to me but I wanted to be sure :)

Thanks,

Dale

You are correct and that's the point of them, really.
