Playing on Rommel I got a DV on turn 19 with no losses.
My strategy was pushing from the north and southeast with most of my army while holing up around the southern and and western objective towns you start out with, to defend against Patton's drive, then counter-attacking in the last few turns to take the one southern objective that you don't start out with. I'll try to get the replay attached a bit later.
One trick is to use any spare fighters against the tough infantry in Bastogne. Even if they don't do any damage or suppression, just being attacked lowers their entrenchment by one. So I'll hit them with a fighter then a strat bomber, or vice versa.
Very difficult indeed.
e: Replay attached, watching it now looks like I memorized some enemy positions for the initial rocket attacks, yuck
