Slitherine

Anyone else having issues downloading? My download has stopped twice at about 1.3GB.

Tech support forum is locked or I would have posted there.

I have not. Using Firefox.

I gave up trying to download from Slitherine and am now downloading from Steam.

i've used chrome, and it just worked, and also have it installed on steam, not all browsers are as user friendly at resuming, but let us know how you get on, and sorry again for your issues, the forum will be unlocked asap, as i've posted a note, seems someone forgot and as of yet, i have no idea on how to unlock it either, not done that part of training as yet, so my bad

Not a big deal at all, just said that so I wouldn't be fussed at for being in the wrong forum. Firefox didn't let me resume either time. Next time I'll use a download manager for something that big.

1.04 is already auto rolled out on the steam side, but a manual download for the site version, unless you use the inbuilt game updater from the start menu, and press it once installed

Other sites (and internetconnection) are fast.

I will try it also via steam, because I want to play the game now (and not over 2 days)

depends on location, as it's a cloud service, so the more that take it, the quicker it becomes, so unless it's a local loop issue, the speed should be the top end of your max, for me as i'm on a home cable line, 200mb, it's was done in less than a minute so sorry for your issues

Download speed from steam = 788KB/sec, so via steam the download wil be completed within 45 minutes

I've tried downloading via nas with downloadmanagers (no difference, or not possible to download).
I've tried downloading via firefox plugin"downthemall" with a max. speed 80-90kb/sec.

When trying to download via a pc (I'm now prepared to download for 2 days and keeping my pc on), I get the error below: Cannot download
This product is no longer available for download, this may be due to the maximum number of allowed attempts exceeded or the allotted time.
Please contact the manufacturer of the product for support.

The download-link is valid for 14 days (not!)

In short:
good experience via steam and I hate the slitherine "experience" of not being able to download it within an acceptable time (incl. expired link in 7 days instead of 14 days......)

update:
I was able to download (within 10 minutes) the core-file when I registered my game via the registed download (ftp-link) at the slitherine members club.
The ftp link to the 1.0.5 did not work (error: permission denied) when selecting the download-link a new url was generated an also this download was completed via ftp (within 5 minutes)
