I have watched some gameplay of the story mode from some youtube channels and I was curious if cubits are a resource further along in the game.

perhaps they could relabel "resource points' as 'megacubits" or something, to reflect the amount of monetary value that the fleet is expending in resources? the way we would refer to "megadollars" when talking about stuff worth millions of dollars.

it would certainly add an extra bit of immersion.
