I started a game and I can't remember if I used the cheat "reform units" or not, is there a way to tell?
Other than having one of my units destroyed to see if it shows up again on the list or not.

The following apply to PCs.

I don't think you can check during a scenario unless you've just lost a unit - if it isn't at 0 strength in your reserves list Reform Units is off.

At the end of each scenario, you get a range of buttons - show battlefield, proceed, difficulty and something else. Select Difficulty and you return to the selection screens from the start of the game, so you can check if Reform Units is on or off and change it if needed.
