In the Blitzkrieg campaign and the Norway Mission in particular, it is supposedly a 30 turn mission (see attachment) butr I keep getting cut off at my 11th, 12th or 13th tuirn, that doesn't seem right

I am not sure (been a while since I played that), but you need to seize several towns before turn 12, I think. I remember that you have to secure the airfields and push for the capital. Check your mission goals (hotkey O) and tell me if that helped.

This is your problem. Well, your challenge in that you are not meeting it which is why the scenario is ending prematurely:
This is a victory condition which also works in reverse. If you do NOT take at least 3 Primary VPs in 10 turns, you LOSE. I just looked at the scenario in the editor and confirmed this; if you are not holding at least three cities by the end of your 10th turn, the AI (Norway) wins.

The cities are Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, and Trondheim. The game will show them to you, one by one (keep clicking Next) if you click the green question mark to the left of this objective.

What I remember doing was taking Kristiansand, Stavanger, and Bergen in 10 turns. I thought Oslo and Trondheim would be more difficult to conquer right away.
