I don't think XP is supported much anymore, sadly. You never know though.

Without wanting to sound hectoring, nobody should still be using XP. It has been EoL for more than 3 years, making it almost absurdly vulnerable in a connected world. If you dislike W8 or W10 (and frankly, I don't like them much) then W7 is at least still supported and is basically the same to use. I didn't give XP a second thought after moving to 7.

I'm happy on W7 and all my Slitherine games run just fine on it.
I have an unusual setup, too. A MacBook Pro running VM Ware to support a Windows virtual machine. Works great, mostly.

If I understand it correctly, the recent NHS cyber-attack meltdown occurred because many of the hospital systems were still using Windows XP, and were hence vulnerable.

What about Vista64? I'm running several programs right now that say Win 7 or above and I don't have any glitches or problems. I have a graphics card with dx11 and it powers the modern day programs just fine.
