Contractions during a charge

I have a couple of general questions I have not yet dealt with in a game. (Again I will post them separately.)

Does a contraction during a charge require a CMT if such a move would normally require one? For example, a drilled, 4-base wide pikemen BG wants to charge through a gap between friends which is only 3 bases wide, but the target is only 2 MUs away. Would this require a CMT since it is less than the 3 MU requirement for a drilled unit to contract in the maneuver phase to call this a SIMPLE move? Would it be different if they were undrilled?

Thanks,

Jay

Wheels and contractions allowed during a charge do not require a CMT just troops that want to charge.

There are a limited number of circumstances in which a charging BG can contract or wheel, but none of them require a CMT. There is no difference between drilled and undrilled BGs for these purposes.

Alright, again, that's what I figured.
