Like the title asked, are the longfangs and painboyz and other new units from the expansion going to be available in the base campaigns?

Also, are you going to add comic book plot illustrations to the base game?

I asked this myself. I just wish I could do some testing for the beta.

I would like an answer to this as well.

My guess is probably not, since this thread has been on the top for five days without a comment but we can still hold out hope.

Initially no, but we're hoping to release some instructions explaining how you can mod your game to add them to earlier levels

Why not just mod them in from your side and do it right? Sigh I hate the orcs and if nothing is migrating to the base game I guess I will pass on this release till you guys come out with a new faction.

Just watched the stream and will be for sure passing on this DLC. Had hoped to see something coming back to the SM campaigns too or even a new small one for them. Since it's all orcs and only sounds like the new SM units are skirmish or MP units there is nothing for me in the DLC.

Well even though I will get literally zero use from the new DLC(unless they patch the new units into the main campaigns) I will go ahead and get this new DLC. At $10 they aren't gouging for the new DLC and the game was worth more than $30.
